Jack was born in West Yorkshire, England, in 2001, Moving to Northern Ireland at the age of three. He went to Greenisland Primary and then onto Ballyclare Secondary School, where he is now deputy Head boy. 

Jacks passion and love for performing was evident at a very young age. Putting on “dramatic”, “hilarious” performances for his family and friends in his living room. From a young age he displayed a flair for co-ordinating and directing others in the roles that they played. 

Since joining Ballyclare Secondary School Jack's love for music and drama has been further nurtured and developed. Jack plays an impressive 4 instruments and takes part in orchestras inside and outside of school, where he plays in venues like the Ulster Hall. 

Jack is currently in Year 14 studying A-levels in Music, Performing Arts and Moving Image Arts. He is currently a music mentor in school, where he provides much needed support and encouragement for other instrumentalists and year 8 classes. 

Jack started to volunteer at Uplift in March 2019, where he loved the family atmosphere and professional attitudes towards performing. Since joining the family Jack has performed in 'Broadway to Belfast' and 'Carousel Cafe' and many other events. 

Outside of Uplift Jack has undergone extensive training in singing, dancing, acting and lighting. He has had the opportunity to work in the SSE Arena designing and operating the lights. He has also performed in leading roles at venues such as; 'The Waterfront', 'The SSE Arena', 'Stranmillis' College Theatre', 'The MAC', 'Theatre at the Mill' and many more.

He has had a diverse range in acting roles where he has played Joseph, in 'Joseph and The Technicolored DreamCoat', The Lion in 'The Wizard of Oz', an Ugly Sister in 'Cinderella the Pantomime' and lots more. 

Jack is absolutely thrilled to be taking on his role as Drama Coach. He can’t wait to get started, teaching our students and inspiring them to become enthusiastic, professional performers.
